Hero and Villain Squares - Joining the squares

Invisible stitch edge by edge, one square at a time, using the long ends left from edging the squares and a darning needle.


The picture below is numbered by which edges were joined in which order, you can see the logical next steps. 
I put my rows together first (the red joins) then joined them together starting at the bottom right (purple).

Aang Beanie and Momo the Flying Lemur

I was so excited to make a baby shower gift for a good friend who I have known since forever! Was pleased with the outcome and made sure I wrote everything I did down for later so I can make them again if I need to.  Can't wait to meet their baby "Aang" haha.
